So here it is, the theme for September is NEW.

ring a month theme for September 2020

Every other month I choose a technical theme and this month it is new. Your challenge for this month is to do something you haven’t done before. You can find some ideas to get you started below:

  • A new material that you’ve not worked with before e.g. plastic, gold

  • A new gemstone you’ve never used

  • A new technique you’ve not tried e.g. keum boo, wax carving, granulation, enamelling, engraving, mixed media

You can be as daring or as safe as you like! Alternatively, if you aren't inspired by this theme, make a ring of your own design. The challenge is to make a ring a month, the theme is optional. But please only share a ring made in September, rings made previously don’t count!

I look forward to seeing what you make!
