Make silver jewellery on your hen do in Edinburgh

I've been excited to get enquiries about hen dos in Edinburgh so I thought I'd post about what's involved. Edinburgh is a very popular destination for hen and stag groups but not everyone wants to drink all weekend! There are some great activities you can do as a group and making jewellery is top of the list. It doesn't matter what the weather is like for one thing as even in August there's no guarantee of sunshine here!

The silver clay jewellery hen dos are so much fun and it is an activity that is perfect for beginners. They're a great ice breaker for hens who don't know each other and it a brilliant choice for multi-generation parties.

On the hen do everyone makes a silver charm for the bride. It's so lovely to see what people choose to make - perhaps stamping a letter onto the silver or cutting a flower shape. Once they're finished I put each charm onto a charm bracelet for the bride to have as a keepsake. Once the charm is made the hens make themselves a silver pendant or pair of earrings.

Here are some photos from previous hen dos and parties I’ve done to give you an idea.

Helen’s birthday

This was Helen’s birthday weekend in Edinburgh. Her friends and family all travelled from different places in the UK to celebrate in style! Helen booked for me to come to their Air BnB on Saturday morning. I set up in their gorgeous kitchen and everyone made a charm for Helen as a keepsake for her birthday and a pendant for themselves.

Hen do

This was a hen do for someone who lives in Edinburgh. She invited me to come along and teach everyone how to make jewellery from silver clay. Everyone made a charm for the bride which I put onto a charm bracelet for her. They also made a pendant for themselves.
